Partial closure of home end and fine

UEFA has delivered its judgment on the events surrounding the Champions League round of 16 first leg against SSC Napoli on 21 February 2023.

Wednesday saw UEFA’s disciplinary committee penalise Eintracht Frankfurt with a partial ban on fans (via the closure of the lower tier of the Nordwestkurve) at SGE’s next home match in a European club competition as well as a €50,000 fine. The sanctions come as a result of the burning of pyrotechnics during the UEFA Champions League round of 16 first leg against SSC Napoli on 21 February 2023.

Eintracht Frankfurt will also be required to pay a further €20,000 for the blocking of the steps to the entrances and exits.
