Frankfurt has plenty to offer: sold-out stadiums, an airport and international flair – but no goalkeeping problems. Statistics from data service provider Opta have revealed that of all the goalkeepers who have played at least 30 percent of the 12 possible matches in this Bundesliga season, Eintracht have the top two in terms of save rates.
Kaua Santos leads the way with 77.8 percent, having stood in for the injured Kevin Trapp, and the Eintracht captain himself has a quota of 76.7 percent. Furthermore, he has thwarted seven clear-cut chances.
The margins in the vote for Mainova Player of the Month for November were similarly close. A total of 31 percent of Eintracht fans voted for Mario Götze in the mainaqila app, with 33 percent choosing Hugo Ekitiké and 36 percent going for Trapp.
