The Bundesliga season may be over but there is more action just around the corner for a number of Eintracht Frankfurt players, with the international break between 2-10 June, while the U21 European Championship runs from 11-28 June.
Robin Koch is part of the Germany squad in the UEFA Nations League final four on home soil. On 4 June, Julian Nageslmann’s side take on Portugal, who were the first of the competition’s three winners so far since its inauguration in 2018.
The other two champions, Spain and France, are the potential opponents in the final or in the third-place play-off on 8 June.
Elsewhere, Jean-Mattéo Bahoya, Hugo Ekitiké (both with France), Nathaniel Brown, Nnamdi Collins, Ansgar Knauff (Germany) and Oscar Højlund (Denmark) are all set to represent their countries at the U21 European Championship.
All are in their respective nations’ provisional tournament squads; teams have until seven days before the opening game to submit their final 23-man rosters to UEFA.
At senior level, Igor Matanovic (Croatia) and Arthur Theate (Belgium) will be on the hunt for points in FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifying.
Meanwhile, Aurèle Amenda, Rasmus Kristensen, Can Uzun, Ellyes Skhiri, Hugo Larsson and Farès Chaibi have also all been called up by their countries. The latter duo will even go head-to-head when Sweden host Algeria in Solna on 10 June.
