Timmy, what was the driving factor behind the early extension?
“As I’ve repeatedly stressed in the past, Eintracht have always been my first port of call. I’m therefore overjoyed to be staying here longer and to remain involved in our project. Frankfurt is my home, Eintracht is like a part of my family and it’s deep in my heart. This decision is very important for me.”
How would you describe your connection to your hometown club?
“I came through all the youth teams and then experienced so much with the club at first-team level, so you can certainly say that I have a very special affiliation to Eintracht. Thank you for allowing me to continue being part of this family!”
I’m confident that many more great years are ahead of us.Timothy Chandler
What do you still want to achieve with Eintracht?
“Firstly to consolidate our position in the Bundesliga. That means having as little as possible to do with the relegation battle in every season. We always want to be in the top half of the table. That’s a target I’ve set myself. I’m confident that many more great years are ahead of us.”
