All white at home

Eintracht Frankfurt and Nike present the new home kit for the 2022/23 season.

This year’s home shirt is an all-white design with a continuous black stripe on both the sleeves and neck. The club initials “SGE” are affixed to the neck, while the eagle on the chest is in black and white. The Nike Swoosh as well as the logo of main sponsor Indeed feature on the front in black, creating a visually consistent look. The logo of sleeve and logistics sponsor DPD is found on the left sleeve. The name and number on the back are printed in black on a white background. The matching shorts are black with the Eintracht eagle also in black and white, while the socks are white with a wider white stripe at the top of the knee and above the ankle.

Sustainable innovation

The new Eintracht Frankfurt jersey that the players will wear on the pitch is made from 100 percent recycled polyester fabric, which has been created from reused plastic bottles.

The result is a kit that’s aesthetically top-class while being environmentally friendly. The plastic bottles are collected, cleaned and melted down to produce a high-quality yarn for manufacturing. This is part of Nike's Move to Zero initiative, where football apparel plays a leading role in sustainability.

No other sport attracts as much worldwide attention as football, which is why Nike has been using recycled polyester for its football shirts since 2010. Every year Nike helps divert one billion plastic bottles from landfills and waterways by producing and designing with recycled polyester.

The stadium version of the home shirt is priced at €90 for adults and €70 for children.
