Adi Hütter on…
…Saturday’s opponents Union Berlin: "Union have played in different formations, especially in defence. That makes it intriguing for us. They're a very good team, they've won their last three games and already have 15 points. Unlike us, they managed to beat Bielefeld and Köln, although you have to say they didn’t give a brilliant performance against Köln.”
…Union’s tactics: “In general, Union have a very physical style of play. It’ll be intriguing to see whether they play with four or three at the back. That also depends to some extent on the players at their disposal, as Union have a number of injuries at the moment.”
…his own game plan: “I’m not going to reveal now what system we’ll play in. The important thing is just that we defend well overall, irrespective of the formation. With the squad we’ve got, we’re very flexible. I’m not a fan of man-marking a player like Max Kruse. That’s also not a guarantee that we’ll win, but we’ll certainly try to limit the room he has and keep an eye on him.”
We desperately want to win, otherwise Union will pull away from us. We got a result there last year, which we'd like to repeat.

...personell: "Sebastian Rode has been back in training this week and is in contention for tomorrow. Amin Younes rejoined the group yesterday but we need to wait and see with him. Apart from that, only Ache and Barkok are missing."
...Saturday's game: "We desperately want to win, otherwise Union will pull away from us. We got a result there last year, which we'd like to repeat. But it'll be a challenge – Union are a team in form. We want to get three points tomorrow, no question. For that we need a flawless performance."
