"We're really up for it" – Key quotes ahead of Europa League kick-off

Ahead of Eintracht Frankfurt's opening UEFA Europa League Group H fixture at Olympique de Marseille on Thursday, the excitement among the players is palpable.

Kevin Trapp on his excitement for the Europa League
"We're all really looking forward to it. The club and the team have earned the right to play in Europe by winning the DFB Cup. We have a great group with some attractive teams. It's going to be an awesome experience for all of us. Marco Russ and I still reminisce about the last time we were in the Europa League – at Porto and Bordeaux and also the fan displays at home. They're the things you never forget as a player, the stories you'll tell for the rest of your life."

Filip Kostic on opponents Marseille
"OM are tough opponents, but they've lost the home advantage with the game being played behind closed doors. We need to make the most of that on Thursday. We've been playing well recently, even if we've not been getting the points, and the mood in the camp is still good. You can feel the excitement; we're really up for the Europa League."

Mijat Gacinovic on his first Europa League game
"It's a great feeling. This is why I came to Frankfurt – I always said I wanted to play European football with Eintracht one day. Now the day has come and I'm incredibly excited. People all over Europe are watching you – it's crazy! Sadly our fans can't support us, but for that they'll be even louder in the other five games."
