Eintracht’s new first-team training centre is growing with every passing day. “We’ll make up for the topping out ceremony that was planned for 1 April – at the latest just before the unveiling,” said member of the board Axel Hellmann. The new building will offer Eintracht a competitive advantage over other clubs in terms of infrastructure, with the pro and indeed all other sections of Eintracht Frankfurt Fußball AG being brought together under one roof.
The new first-team training centre will comprise everything that a professional sporting team needs nowadays. It will house 20 rooms for overnight accommodation (17 of them doubles), offices for the training staff with movable walls, a weights room, a 35-metre running track and a therapy area with a sauna and hydrotherapy pool on the ground floor designed in close conjunction with the physios, as well as a cafeteria open to all the staff. There is also an additional weights room that is far superior to the older, smaller version.
There will be plenty of room for everyone at the club in the new building complex and not just the first-team squad, simplifying communication channels among the various departments. It will also feature ultra-modern zones that will be available, for example, for EintrachtTV to use for interviews and press conferences.
