Victory in the UEFA Europa League and subsequent qualification for the UEFA Champions League have had a direct impact on Eintracht’s membership figures, with the Eagles recording the largest rise in members in a single year since the club was founded. Around 30,000 new members have joined the club in the past 12 months, taking the overall total to over 120,000.
“2022 was a historic year on so many levels,” said club president Peter Fischer. “In the spring we were celebrating hitting 100,000 members, now we’re already at 120,000. That’s unbelievable and a great Christmas present for me as president.”
