“It’d be nice if we made it”

Sporting director Bruno Hübner on Eintracht’s record against Dortmund, BVB’s strengths and the Eagles’ short-term objectives.

Bruno Hübner on…

… Borussia Dortmund: “Our record against BVB isn’t good. We’ll try to win the game and play with confidence and conviction, but we’re aware of the opposition’s strengths. BVB are under more pressure. We’ll need to control the game. That’s what we’re up against.”

… Erling Haaland and André Silva, both of whom are on 21 league goals: “Haaland is extraordinary. He’s got everything: power, clever runs, intelligence, pace, attitude and character. André is a different type of player, he’s improved remarkably with us. He’s an intelligent player and a natural goalscorer.”

By qualifying for the Champions League, we’d reach a level which would give us a boost and linger in our memories for a long time.

… potentially qualifying for the Champions League: “Finishing fifth or sixth would also be a great achievement. By qualifying for the Champions League, we’d reach a level which would give us a boost and linger in our memories for a long time. It’d obviously be nice if we made it.”
