“The excitement is very great”

Oliver Glasner predicts “an evenly matched contest” against Wolfsburg and talks about the prospect of 10,000 fans.

Oliver Glasner on…

…personnel: "Daichi Kamada and Filip Kostic have been back in training all week. Ragnar Ache and Makoto Hasebe are the two injury absentees."

…Filip Kostic: “Filip won’t be at 100 per cent yet. In the last six weeks he’s had eight days of training, but even a Kostic at 80 per cent can help us. He has a lot of qualities that benefit us.”

…the preparation for the match against Wolfsburg: “We’ve had a great intensity in training. There’s been real punch and drive in it. I got the impression that the win at Stuttgart was a weight off our shoulders. "I detect an optimistic mood at Wolfsburg. I'm expecting aggressive opponents who want to carry forward the momentum. We need to disrupt them early in order to stop them from displaying their technical class."

We're glad that fans are coming back. Of course, I hope that 10,000 isn't the end of it. The sun is shining, the excitement is very great.

…opponents VfL Wolfsburg: “I’m expecting an evenly matched contest, like many in the Bundesliga. VfL Wolfsburg were in the Champions League and have strengthened the squad again, so in terms of potential, the team belong in a different region of the table.”

…10,000 fans being allowed inside Deutsche Bank Park: "We're glad that fans are coming back. Of course, I hope that 10,000 isn't the end of it. The sun is shining, the excitement is very great."

…Martin Hinteregger: "Hinteregger will definitely play. He's been very committed this week. He's had constant injury battles but still dedicates himself to SGE. He has the full confidence of everyone."
