After three days off, head coach Oliver Glasner will have his players in for no fewer than six training sessions this week before Saturday’s match against Hertha BSC.
With the players on international duty still absent, passing and accuracy practice in defence and attack were on the agenda in a small-scale session. The Eagles are working towards another three points and a first home win of the campaign.
The internationals will arrive back in Frankfurt in dribs and drabs over the course of the week. The last of them will be Rafael Santos Borré, whose Colombia side take on Ecuador in Barraquila at 23:00 CEST on Thursday night.
