“Self-confident but full of respect”

Oliver Glasner is looking forward to the quarter-final against Barca, but for now is focusing on Sunday’s game in Leipzig.

Oliver Glasner on…

…the quarter-final draw against Barcelona: “Barca are one of the biggest names in European football. But to put it bluntly: if you can get past the fifth-placed team from Spain then you can do it against the third-placed team as well.”

…personnel: “Sow is missing due to suspension. Sebastian Rode is a candidate and Hrustic has done well in central midfield previously. The decision on who starts will probably be made on Sunday. We didn’t pick up any serious injuries in the game against Betis. Jens Petter Hauge is working very hard in training and in the gym. He brought a lot of momentum into the game yesterday, was really dynamic and driven. I’m very happy for him.”

Our approach is always the same: we’re going there to win.

Head coach Oliver Glasner

…the upcoming Bundesliga game in Leipzig: “We’re going into the match against Leipzig with a lot of self-confidence, but also a great deal of respect. They’ve changed their playing style somewhat – now they’re calmer and playing with more controlled possession. Our approach is always the same: we’re going there to win. We can do better in our attacking play than we did last night. We had turnovers that we have to capitalise on better – starting on Sunday against a team with Champions League ambitions.”
