THE INTERVIEW
Mr Veh, how do you feel about the cup match away to Halle?
We can only win. We do want to win. But Halle have a strong team, last weekend they won 3-0 against Hessen Kassel. We sent scouts to watch them play and gather some information, that way we can assess the opponent better.
How do you position the team against an opponent such as Halle?
They have to position themselves against us. We are the professional team, and we want to stay in the upper zone of the 2. Bundesliga standings and get promoted. It will not be an easy match but we need to be confident, knowing that we are the better team.
Pirmin Schwegler is out due to a match ban. Who will be the captain of the team instead of him?
The other options are Matthias Lehman, Oka Nikolov or Sebastian Jung. Oka is the oldest and has been at the club for a long time, he will be the captain tomorrow.
Will there be other changes to the starting line-up?
Our new defender Bamba Anderson will play, also Oka will be in goal in the cup. He performed really well during pre season training and he is a great guy. I know that he will do a good job tomorrow. He deserves to play, he is too good for the bench.
