Veh: No Easy Games

Eintracht manager Armin Veh answered the media's questions ahead of Sunday's home match against MSV Duisburg (kick-off at 13.30h CET) during yesterday's press conference.

Mr Veh, is Theofanis Gekas back in the squad for Sunday?
Theo doesn't feel well, it would not get us anywhere to put him on the bench or to even let him play. The risk of him getting an injury and being out of action long after is too big. He might be back on Wednesday but he needs to get fully fit first.

How about Bamba Anderson?
Bamba did not have a proper injury, he suffered problems with his sinuses. He was back yesterday doing some running and joined the training session with the team today. I think he will be able to play on Sunday but we will decide on that after the last training.

How do you rate the opponent MSV Duisburg?
At the start of the season for me MSV was an insider tip. The team has a good foundation but they had a bad start to the season. It is not an easy match for us. We will have to be totally focused and fully fit to win.

What were the reasons for Duisburg's bad start to the season?
I can only judge from a distance. They did not get the results in and so the self-confidence suffered, then their key player Jula got injured. Duisburg is going through a similar patch as Bochum currently.

How "dangerous" do you feel the upcoming league matches are going to be?
Our opponents of the coming weeks might not be top ranked but they do have quality. Those won't be easy games. For example Duisburg - they do have a good team, the squad is back to full strength and they are the underdog against us which makes it easier for them.
