Veh: A Tight Match For Both!

In the pre match press conference ahead of Monday's away match to St. Pauli the media was invited to find out the latest from Eintracht manager Armin Veh. The match kicks off at 20.15h CET, read Veh's answers below.

Mr Veh, how do you see the defeat of top ranked Fortuna Düsseldorf?
We said ahead of the last two matches against Fürth and Pauli that the aim is to win four points. No matter whether Düsseldorf won or lost we still want those four points.

With a win Eintracht would go into the winter break as the table leaders, with a defeat in spot three.
Correct, though it does not mean too much to me to be in the first spot right now. It would not be a disadvantage to come out third now, the main thing is to stay in the top 5!

How are the injured players?
Lehamnn is ill and it got worse so he will not be in the squad. Jimmy Hoffer has got a tonsilitis and will also stay in Frankfurt. But Bamba Anderson and Mo Idrissou will come wit us.

But they will have to have surgery nonetheless?
Exactly, Bamba will have his OP on Tuesday and Idrissou will also have his at some stage.

How do you see the opponent?
St. Pauli are a direct competitor. It will be a tight match for both and the form on the day will be decisive once again. Both teams - St. Pauli as well as us - have not shown the performances in the last matches they are capable of.
