After two days off followed by training at home on Monday, the Eagles returned to the pitch on Tuesday and continued working on their fitness in small groups. Prior to this, the players' temperatures were taken in the morning. Like all Bundesliga clubs at present, Eintracht must simply wait and see how the situation develops.
On Thursday, the German Football League (DFL) passed a package of measures with a view to resuming match operations in May, while on Monday sports ministers also issued a recommendation on how to continue the season, subject to strict conditions. Ultimately, the decision will lie with the federal government and ministers to ensure the appropriate legal basis when they meet on 30 April.
Head coach Adi Hütter echoed that view: “An interesting and positive aspect for me is that you can use the time to work even more closely with the players individually, and to discuss things more intensely in terms of positioning. We didn’t have a chance to do that in the past few months due to the number of games we played.”

Individual training sessions
A return to action would obviously be welcomed by those in the Eintracht camp. “We've been going through this for a few weeks now, and everyone would be happy to be able to train together again, do tactical work and obviously play matches,” said assistant coach Christian Peintinger. “But we don’t know when the green light will come, so we’re making the best of it.”Head coach Adi Hütter echoed that view: “An interesting and positive aspect for me is that you can use the time to work even more closely with the players individually, and to discuss things more intensely in terms of positioning.
