As ever, the end of the year was marked by all kinds of awards in world football. From the Ballon d’Or and FIFA World Player of the Year to the Golden Boy and top XIs, they all found their winners for 2024. It’s not over yet, though. From now until Sunday 12 January, EA SPORTS FC™ is looking for its men’s and women’s Team of the Year.
Among the nominees who have shone on the world stage this year are three Eintracht players. Eintracht Women are represented twice by German internationals and Olympic bronze medallists Sara Doorsoun and Laura Freigang, while Omar Marmoush, currently top of the Bundesliga goal contributions chart, is shortlisted for the men’s team.
