Eintracht Frankfurt will be able to count on a strong new partner over the coming years. International parcel delivery and express service provider DPD has become Eintracht’s official logistics partner and will be working in close collaboration with the Bundesliga club in the areas of digitalisation and sustainability. The partnership between Eintracht Frankfurt and DPD is effective immediately and will run through to 30 June 2023.
The partnership will be represented in a number of ways, most significantly with the DPD logo to be featured on the sleeves of Eintracht’s jerseys.

“Eintracht Frankfurt are a club with a great tradition and in all of our discussions with them, they have come across as active players in society who think and act in an innovative way,” said Eric Malitzke, CEO of DPD Deutschland. “The partnership with Eintracht, who like DPD are deeply rooted in the Rhine-Main area, will therefore extend far beyond the usual realms of sports sponsorship.”
One of the focuses of the partnership will stem from both partners’ digitalisation ambitions. Eintracht Frankfurt and DPD will be working together to create common digital solutions based on their shared innovation-driven way of thinking.
As a parcel delivery company first and foremost, DPD will of course be Eintracht Frankfurt’s logistics partner. For example, they will be taking on the dispatching of merchandising parcels and the delivery of various other postal services in the B2B sector and for club members. There will be a particular focus on achieving the highest possible levels of sustainability in all of the projects where Eintracht Frankfurt and DPD will be working together, with one of the ideas being to post fan shop purchases in reusable boxes.
