Thirty-strong Eagles squad begin training camp in Switzerland

Eintracht arrived in Switzerland early on Sunday afternoon ahead of their first training camp of the 2019/20 season.

Head coach Adi Hütter has taken 27 outfield players and three goalkeepers to Switzerland. Under-19 custodian Elias Bördner joins Frederik Rönnow and Felix Wiedwald in the squad, having taken part in training earlier this week. The teenager replaces Jan Zimmermann, whose wife is expecting their first child.

First-team players Patrick Finger (with the Under-19s), Nils Stendera (knock) and Simon Falette, who is hoping to help Guinea reach the quarter-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations against Algeria this evening, have also been left out of the squad.
