Theate in action

Arthur Theate suffered a loss with Belgium against France in the UEFA Nations League, but Can Uzun witnessed a win for Turkey.

After winning their opening match in the UEFA Nations League, Arthur Theate and the Belgian team slipped to a 2-0 defeat against France on Matchday 2, with ex-Eagle Randal Kolo Muani scoring the opening goal. Theate started at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais, where the defender will return with Eintracht in December to take on Lyon in the Europa League, and played the full 90 minutes for the Red Devils.

Also in Nations League action were Turkey, although this time without the involvement of Can Uzun. The Frankfurt forward watched from the bench as his team-mates claimed a 3-1 victory over Iceland at the Gürsel Aksel Stadium in Izmir, where Kerem Aktürkoğlu scored all three goals.
