+++ Two match ban for David Abraham +++ Central defender David Abraham was sent off during last weekend's DFB-Pokal first round match against TuS Erndtebrück (3-0 win) for a last man challenge. His match ban was now confirmed; he will miss the following two cup games.

+++ Long off time for Marquito +++ Midfield wizard Marco Fabian suffers ongoing lumbar spine problems for a while now. He will undergo conservative therapy; the off time is expected to be around two months. Get well soon, Marco!

+++ New partnership kicks off +++ Deutsche Börse Group and Eintracht kicked off their three-year partnership in style at Frankfurt Stock Exchange on Tuesday this week. Board members oaf each DBG and SGE jointly opened trading in the morning; players and traders smiled for the cameras and the bull and bear sculptures outside the stock exchange were covered in Eintracht scarves.
