Mainz friendly called off

Eintracht Frankfurt’s friendly against fellow Bundesliga side 1. FSV Mainz 05, that was scheduled to be played at 15:30 CEST today, has had to be called off.

Mainz have recorded two positive COVID-19 tests, meaning that the match that was to be played at the Deutsche Bank Park cannot go ahead as planned. More detailed information is available to the media on the Mainz 05 website.

In place of the postponed match, Eintracht head coach Adi Hütter has arranged training sessions for his players this afternoon and on Sunday.
