SGE's starting line-up in Wiesbaden featured plenty of regulars and it was especially good to see Kevin Trapp back in goal who returned from a long-term injury. Musashi Suizuki scored the opener after he came on for the second half, the striker is currently on a trial at Eintracht. Martin Lanig headed in the second from a Timmy Chandler cross. A crowd of 4,180 had gathered at BRITA Arena, around 1,000 of them Eintracht supporters.

The 37th indoor tournament in Frankfurt hosted Grasshoppers, Greuther Fürth, FSV Frankfurt, Darmstadt 98 and Eintracht. The first round of the tournament was played in "Round Robin" mode, every team played against each of the other teams (10 minutes per half). The two best teams met in the final.
After two wins and two defeats SGE missed out on the final. It was FSV Frankfurt who lifted the trophy after all due to a 2-1 win against Greuther Fürth in the final.
