Eintracht Frankfurt and AEK Athens have reached an agreement over a loan move for Steven Zuber. The Swiss midfielder is heading to the Greek capital for the rest of the season, after which the Greek Super League club have an option to sign him permanently.
Zuber joined Eintracht from Hoffenheim last summer and made 20 Bundesliga appearances as well as two in the cup during the 2020/21 campaign. The 30-year-old last featured for the Eagles in this season’s DFB Cup first-round clash at Waldhof Mannheim.
