“We’re always looking forward”

Oliver Glasner issues a personnel update and explains why Hertha BSC are such dangerous opponents.

Oliver Glasner on...

...personnel: “We were almost at full strength in training today. Barkok unfortunately injured his knee in the third international match and will miss Saturday. Chris Lenz has suffered a setback. Rode is back but it's too early for him to be involved.”

…reacting to the win in Munich: “The victory in Munich certainly helps us in terms of self-confidence. It’s a different situation against Hertha. In general, we only dwell on the past for a short time – that goes for wins as well as defeats. We’re always looking forward.”

…competition for places: “There’s always competition and we have to see who’s in the best shape. We’re pleased to have more options in terms of personnel, in defence and in attack.”

40,000 attendees is a big step towards full capacity. I'm sure our fans will give our team great support.

…Hertha BSC: “Hertha have set themselves ambitious goals which they haven’t quite managed to meet of late. They have a very good team with many experienced players, many internationals and a lot of pace on the flanks. I don't know why it hasn't worked out for them so far and I make no judgement either. We have a lot of respect”

…the prospect of a 40,000-crowd: “I'm pleased about every spectator who comes to the stadium on Saturday. 40,000 attendees is a big step towards full capacity. I'm sure our fans will give our team great support.”

…pressure: “I’m not worried about being under pressure. The key thing is that we find our focus from game to game in order to face the challenges in store for us. If we manage to do that, we’ll win more games than we lose. Following the international break, we're Eintracht Frankfurt again and we want to show how we want to play on the pitch again – as we did in Antwerp and Munich”
