Thriller in Cologne

Six Eintracht players were in action with their national teams on Tuesday.

Kicking things off were Daichi Kamada and Japan, who took on Ivory Coast in a friendly. Kamada played the full match in Utrecht and celebrated a 1-0 win for the Samurai Blue.

Aymen Barkok was also on the pitch throughout in Morocco’s friendly against DR Congo in Rabat, which ended 1-1.

In Cologne, Switzerland’s Djibril Sow and Steven Zuber came up against Germany and teammate Kevin Trapp in a thrilling UEFA Nations League clash, which ended 3-3. While Trapp watched on from the bench, Zuber played until the 66th minute, the same time that Sow came on.

Marijan Cavar suffered defeat with the Bosnia and Herzegovina U21s in European qualifying, losing 1-0 to their German counterparts in Fürth. Cavar was an 83rd-minute substitute.
