Training ramps up ahead of the big match

Eintracht focusing on Saturday’s trip to Bayern Munich.

After being given Tuesday off, 28 players – three of them goalkeepers – were back at training on Wednesday. The injured Ragnar Ache and Filip Kostic were not able to work with the main group but nevertheless put in a few laps around a neighbouring pitch.

Goalkeepers Kevin Trapp, Markus Schubert and Elias Bördner started off with fitness training and various jumping exercises before the three of them were given ball work by goalkeeping coach Jan Zimmermann. The rest of the squad also had fitness work after their warm-up, before moving on to passing drills and a game focusing on shooting skills.

The Eagles will have another session on Thursday and on Friday before heading to Munich for Saturday’s match against Bayern at 15.30 CEST in the Allianz Arena.
