On Wednesday the German Football League (DFL) held discussions with the clubs in the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 on the conclusion of the seasons in each league.
For the remaining eight matchdays of the campaign, the DFL has planned two rounds of midweek fixtures. Eintracht’s postponed Matchday 24 clash with Bremen will now be held on Wednesday 3 June at 20:30 CEST. The other games that will take place during the week are the home encounters against SC Freiburg (Tuesday 26 May, 20:30 CEST) and FC Schalke 04 (Wednesday 17 June, 18:30 CEST).
