Reschke appointed to board, Frankenbach extends

The Eintracht Frankfurt Fußball AG supervisory board has appointed Philipp Reschke to the board and extended the contract of board member for finance Oliver Frankenbach.

The Eintracht Frankfurt Fußball AG supervisory board held its regular meeting on Wednesday 25 May 2022 and made some important personnel decisions, with continuity being the order of the day at board level. As such, board member for finance Oliver Frankenbach has seen his contract – that was due to expire in 2024 – extended by two years through to 30 June 2026.

Furthermore, the Eintracht Frankfurt Fußball AG board is being increased from three to four positions. Philipp Reschke, who is currently an authorised signatory and head of the legal, fan support, safety and matchday organisation departments, will move up to the board as of 1 July 2022. The 49-year-old in-house counsel has been awarded a contract through to 30 June 2025.

In addition to Frankenbach and Reschke, the four-man team includes Axel Hellmann (CEO) and Markus Krösche (board member for sport). Reschke will continue to oversee his current duties and also take on responsibility for the supporter service, merchandising and HR departments.

Oliver Frankenbach, Eintracht Frankfurt Fußball AG board member for finance:

“I would like to thank the supervisory board for the trust they have shown in me, and say how much I am looking forward to continuing my work with them and facing the challenges that the future will throw up, especially with the new board structure.”

Philipp Reschke, board member from 1 July 2022:

“I would like to thank the supervisory board for their show of trust, in particular the main committee and the chairman of the supervisory board Philip Holzer for the incredibly open and targeted exchanges that we have had. It’s hard to express just how keen I am to set about my new tasks.”
