Kolo Muani leaves Eintracht Frankfurt

International striker moving back to France to join Paris Saint-Germain with immediate effect.

Eintracht Frankfurt and Paris Saint-Germain have agreed terms on the transfer of Randal Kolo Muani, despite the 24-year-old having a contract with Frankfurt that was originally set to run until 30 June 2027. The fee for the striker will be an Eagles club record €95 million, with the board and the supervisory board of Eintracht Frankfurt Fussball AG unanimously agreeing to accept the offer.

“We would have liked to have kept Randal Kolo Muani with us for longer and that is what we had been communicating over recent weeks,” said board member for sport Markus Krösche. “At the end of the day however, the developments that happened over recent hours and the resultant business parameters that represent a record incoming transfer fee for Eintracht Frankfurt tipped the balance.

“Late in the afternoon, based on the situation with the offer for the player from Paris Saint-Germain, we stated that we did not have the basis for an agreement and were planning on continuing to have Randal available for us. Late in the evening, we then received an offer that, from a financial point of view for Eintracht Frankfurt, we simply could not turn down. We would like to thank Randal for his performances last season.”
