Ragnar Ache joins Fürth on loan

The forward has signed for Spielvereinigung Greuther Fürth on a 12-month loan deal.

Eintracht Frankfurt have agreed to loan Ragnar Ache to SpVgg Greuther Fürth for the 2022/23 season. The forward will spend the next 12 months with the Clover Leaves, who were relegated to Bundesliga 2 in May.

Frankfurt-born Ache has made 23 appearances for Eintracht since joining the club from Sparta Rotterdam in summer 2020. The 23-year-old is under contract with the Eagles until June 2025.

“We continue to believe in Ragnar’s potential,” said Eintracht board member for sport Markus Krösche. “He’s unfortunately had to deal with injuries every now and again in recent times, which has made it even more difficult for him to re-establish himself in a well-drilled team. We’ve come to a mutual decision that a temporary move to an ambitious second-division side like Greuther Fürth could be very helpful in giving him regular playing time and renewed momentum.”
