Ragnar Ache surgery a success

Ossification on the tendon in the rear thigh area has been removed.

Ragnar Ache underwent a successful operation in Munich on Friday after injuring a tendon in the back of his thigh on the second weekend of October. The striker felt the issue again during his initial recovery period, making surgery necessary in order to remove the ossification on the tendon in the rear area of his thigh. The 22-year-old is expected to be out of action for around eight weeks.

“Ragnar will receive all the support and time he needs from the medical team and the club as a whole so that he can return to full health and fitness next year,” said sporting director Bruno Hübner.
