Marvin Dills signs pro contract

The 18-year-old home-grown youth prospect signs first professional terms and is set to play for the U21s this coming season.

In 2018 at the age of just 11, Marvin Dills moved from TuS Makkabi Frankfurt to Eintracht, going on to make his way through the club's various youth teams. The attacking midfielder made 12 appearances for the U17s (two goals, four assists) and was part of the side which won the 2023/24 U17 Bundesliga South/South-West.

Born in Frankfurt but with joint German and US citizenship, Dills then went on to play 25 times for the U19s (seven goals, seven assists) across league and cup competitions. He has also won two caps for Germany's U18 team and more recently four caps for USA's U18s at the UEFA Friendship Cup, which his team won and where Dills was voted Player of the Tournament.

Die U21 ist das geeignete Umfeld für ihn, um sich kontinuierlich weiterzuentwickeln.

Sporting director Timmo Hardung

"We are delighted that Marvin will be pursuing his development here at Eintracht Frankfurt over the coming years," said sporting director Timmo Hardung. "We're tying down a very talented attacking player who has spent a number of years at our youth academy and will now be taking his first steps in men's football. The U21 team is the right environment for him to continue developing."
