Peintinger and Reutershahn to leave Eintracht

The contracts of the two assistant coaches have been terminated by mutual consent following the end of the season.

Eintracht Frankfurt and their assistant coaching duo are parting company, with the Bundesliga club agreeing to an early termination of the contracts of Christian Peintinger and Armin Reutershahn, which were due to run until 30 June 2023.

Duisburg-born Reutershahn has been working as an assistant coach in professional football for three decades, spending 10 years at Eintracht and tasting DFB Cup glory under Niko Kovac in 2018.

Peintinger came to Frankfurt from Young Boys Berne with Adi Hütter in 2018. In March 2019, he served as head coach for the UEFA Europa League Round of 16 second leg against Inter Milan, when Hütter was suspended.
