On International Duty

Various Eintracht players received call-ups for their national sides ahead of the Bundesliga break.

World Cup Qualification

Austria and Finland will meet for a World Cup qualifier in Innsbruck (28 March); it is possible our two goalkeepers Lukas Hradecky and Heinz Lindner will face each other. Before that Finland and Hradecky will play in Antalia against Turkey (24 March), Lindner's Austria face Moldavia in Vienna on the same day.

Taleb Tawatha joins the Israel national team for the qualifier against Spain (24 March in El Molinón), Mijat Gacinovic and Serbia will meet Georgia (24 March in Tbilisi).

Possible but not confirmed yet is the nomination of Shani Tarashaj and Haris Seferovic for Switzerland who will face Latvia (25 March in Geneva). Also Branimir Hrgota's call-up is not yet confirmed for Sweden's qualification match against Belarus (25 March in Solna) and the test against Portugal (28 March in Funchal).

Due to his knee injury and the respective surgery he underwent Makoto Hasebe will not team up with Japan's side for their qualifiers.

National Youth Teams

Furkan Zorba joins Turkey for the Under-19 elite round (opponents Croatia, Poland, Portugal), Aymen Barkok will tem up with Germany's Under-19 for qualifiers against Cyprus (23 March, Rüsselsheim), Serbia (25 March, Kelsterbach) and Slovakia (28 March, Volksbank Stadion Frankfurt).

On stand-by will be Max Besuschkow for Germany's Under-20 who will play Switzerland twice (23 & 27 March).
