“Even more drive going forward”

Adi Hütter looks ahead to Eintracht’s upcoming Bundesliga games and reveals where he thinks the Eagles can improve.

Adi Hütter on…

…the state of play: “We’ve put the Bayern game behind us. That was a heavy defeat. Throughout the week, our focus has been solely on Bremen and tomorrow we want to show a reaction and get the win. We need to do better in transition, work harder in attack when we don’t have the ball and get behind their defence. We’re just as hungry for goals as we are for three points, which is why we’re desperate to win tomorrow.”

…opponents Bremen: “Werder have also got off to a very decent start and already have eight points to their name. Despite that, we’re absolutely determined to get the three points. I don’t suppose possession of the ball will be Bremen’s top priority, but winning the ball and attacking our goal with pace will be. They’ll probably play with three at the back. We’ll definitely be prepared for all scenarios, in any case.”

…Eintracht’s starting XI against Werder: “Tuta is injured and won’t be available for us tomorrow, so David Abraham will be back in the starting line-up. Amin Younes did well after coming on [against Bayern Munich], he’ll definitely be given a chance from the start in the near future – maybe even tomorrow.”

We’re capable of playing with even more drive going forward. The team is doing very well so far.

Head coach Adi Hütter

…the season so far: “Had we won against Köln I’d be really pleased, but I’m frustrated with those two dropped points. The team is stable and the players are well attuned to each other. We’re capable of playing with even more drive going forward. The team is doing very well so far.”

…the importance of Eintracht’s upcoming games: “The next two matches will certainly be quite significant. We’ve got the chance to take all six points but to do that, we’ll have to play like we did against Hoffenheim or Hertha. I’m a fan of trying to win every game.”
