The 19-year-old has been part of the Eintracht Frankfurt first-team squad since the start of 2019, having risen through the Eagles’ youth ranks after joining in 2014.
In order to get regular senior football, Stendera is joining Lokomotive Leipzig in Germany’s fourth tier for the 2020/21 season.
Sporting director Bruno Hübner said: “Nils has been a permanent member of the first-team squad for over a year and has been able to develop through a lot of training in a professional setting. However, we can’t currently offer him the prospect of regular football that is so important at his age, not least because of the heavy competition in his position, and we’re convinced that the move to an ambitious regional league club like Lok Leipzig is the right interim step in his still young career.”
