The 20-year-old goalkeeper joined the Eagles for a trial in the recent three weeks and has now signed a contract from January onwards running until mid 2016. Eintracht have an option to extend the contract for additional two years.
Sporting Director Bruno Hübner: "We have signed a very talented young goalkeeper and are glad to have sealed the deal. With the uncertain comebacks and recoveries of the main two keepers Kevin Trapp and Felix Wiedwald and the open future of Timo Hildebrand the signing has taken off some pressure in regards to the goalkeeper situation."
Eintracht Head Coach Thomas Schaaf: "The signing will help us perspectively; the current situation regarding our goalkeepers was not the main motivation for bringing Emil Balayev in."
