Nacho Ferri extends deal

The 18-year-old attacker has agreed to a contract extension ahead of schedule, keeping him at the club for another year until 30 June 2026.

Eintracht Frankfurt and Ignacio Ferri Julià, known as Nacho for short, will continue their working relationship. The Spain U19 international’s contract was originally valid until 30 June 2025. He arrived at Eintracht’s youth academy in summer 2021 from the UD Alzira youth set-up, and signed professional terms in October 2022.

Since his move, Nacho has made 11 appearances for the Eagles’ U19s in the Bundesliga U19 league, contributing seven goals and one assist, adding a further goal and three assists in six UEFA Youth League outings. The 18-year-old has also played 33 times for the U21s in the LOTTO Hesse League, registering 26 goals and 11 assists, thereby playing a major role in the team winning the title and gaining promotion to the South-West Regionalliga (Germany’s fourth division).

Sporting director Timmo Hardung: “We’re pleased that we’ve been able to tie Nacho to us for the long term. He’s a very talented forward with potential for development and is eager to learn. He impressed right away in his first season in men’s football, despite being an U19 player, and his goals and assists made a significant contribution to our U21 side gaining promotion to the regional division. We’re confident in his potential and want to support him as best we can in order to take the next steps in his development.”
