“It’s my job to work hard”

Diant Ramaj explains his move to Eintracht and talks about his prospects.

Diant Ramaj on...

...his move to Eintracht: “My goalkeeping coach Jan Zimmermann played a crucial role in the reasons for the move. As he’s already said himself, he’s been watching me for a long time and also been in contact with me. I was really impressed by his philosophy and the path that he showed me. Added to that is the fact that Eintracht is a club with great history and phenomenal fans.”

...his first weeks in Frankfurt: “The lads, the coaching team and all the staff have made it extremely easy for me. I feel very happy here, and in the dressing room. I enjoy coming here every day – long may it continue.”

The route is clear: give everything in training! The Bundesliga is the next big step for me.

...his style of play: “With Jan Zimmermann’s philosophy, it’s about coming across as confident and always being available for the pass. I like that because it fits with my style of play. That also comes from the fact I played outfield up to U11 or U12.”

...his prospects: “The route is clear: give everything in training! The Bundesliga is the next big step for me. Whether I’m now the number three, number two or at some point will be the number one is not my job. My job is to work hard. Everything else is down to the coach.”
