Adi Hütter on…
…personell: "Evan Ndicka is still out and we’re now hoping that he’ll be back in around a month – we can’t say with any more certainty than that at the moment. Otherwise everyone’s available for selection for tomorrow.“
…upcoming opponents Hertha: "We obviously have fond memories of our most recent win in Berlin and the incredible goal that Daichi Kamada and André Silva scored. Tomorrow’s a whole new ballgame though. Hertha Berlin have been on a roller-coaster, going out of the cup and then having that excellent win in Bremen. They’ve got pace in attack so we’re going to have to defend better than we have of late. They’re very flexible up front with Piatek and Cordoba, and they’re very stable at centre-back with Boyata and Torunarigha. I hope we get back the last percentage points of dynamism and liveliness that were missing in our opening game against Bielefeld.”
At the end of the day I always want to send out a team that can win. It’s always about performing.
Head coach Adi Hütter
…the current strike partnership: “The most important thing is that Bas Dost feels better than he did last season. It’s clear to see that he’s on a different level, a better level, than he was last term. I think he and André Silva work well together and link up well during the game.”
…the line-up: “I’ve analysed a lot from the last match and from what the players have done in training this week, so it may well be that there are one or two changes tomorrow. At the end of the day I always want to send out a team that can win. It’s always about performing.”
