ALL TIME RECORD

Eintracht and 1860 met only twice in Bundesliga 2 so far. In the 2004/05 season the 'Lions' won both games 2-1. Still, at the end of the season Frankfurt got promoted.

In the top flight Eintracht won nearly half of their 32 matches against 1860: 15 wins, 5 draws, 12 defeats.

The very last meeting was in the cup in 2005/06 though, in the DFB Cup quarter final Eintracht beat 1860 3-1 away, it was the only meeting at the Allianz Arena so far. The Eagles marched on to reach the final in Berlin (0-1 against Bayern).

  • Eintracht are the best away team of the season (6 wins, 2 draws), 1860 have not managed a home win in 3 matches (1 draw, 2 defeats).
  • It remains Frankfurt's best 2. Bundesliga season ever (35 points after 15 matches). They already bagged 16 points more than in the 2004/05 season after 15 matchdays, which is when they last got promoted.
  • The Eagles scored 3 or more goals on 9 occasions already. The Eagles netted more than any other team in Germany's top three divisions! Only 2 teams ever scored more goals after 15 matches in the history of Bundesliga 2.
  • Matthias Lehmann used to play at 1860 and became the youngest team captain in the club's history at the age of 22. He scored his very first Bundesliga goal for 1860 against Eintracht in 2003/04.
