Eintracht Frankfurt have loaned Martin Pecar to Austria Wien for the remainder of the 2021/22 season. The club, currently seventh in the Austrian Bundesliga table, have an option to make the move a permanent one for Pecar, whose contract at Eintracht runs until 30 June 2023.
The Slovenian arrived at the Eintracht youth academy from NK Olimpija Ljubljana in August 2018. Now 19, he recorded four goals and six assists across 26 appearances for the U17 and U19 sides, but has been a permanent member of the first-team pool this season.
Pecar struggled with injuries in the first half of the 2021/22 campaign, but featured in Eintracht’s recent friendly against 1. FSV Mainz 05.
