Alexander Madlung Joins
31 year old defender Alexander Madlung joins Eintracht on a contract running until June 2015. Madlung comes with the experience of 246 Bundeliga games (more than any player in the current SGE squad) at Hertha BSC Berlin and VfL Wolfsburg. During his spell at Wolfsburg he won the title and played Chamions League. Recently Madlung was out of contract. Welcome to Frankfurt!
Abu Dhabi Training Camp
After the indoor tournament "frankfurtcup2014" (takes place on Sunday the 5th of January) the team will head to Abu Dhabi for their winter training camp. The official restart of training is on January 7th, the team will then fly out to Abu Dhabi in the Emirates a day later. After around nine days the Eintracht delegation will get back to Frankurt (January 17th).
Test Match v S04
During their stay in Abu Dhabi the Eagles will meet fellow Bundesliga team Schalke 04 for a test match on January the 11th. The match will take place at Al Nahyan Stadium (12,000 capacity), kick-off will be at 16h local time (13h CET). A second test match during the Bundesliga break is planned, details will be confirmed soon.
