The cooperation between Eintracht Frankfurt and loan players Donny van de Beek and Sasa Kalajdzic will not be continued beyond the end date of 30 June. Van de Beek was presented in Frankfurt on New Year’s Day as the first signing of the winter window. The deal included an option to buy, which the Hessian club will not be exercising. The 27-year-old Dutchman, who has recently been sidelined by a heel injury, returns to Manchester United after eight Bundesliga appearances.
Sasa Kalajdzic will also not be extending his stay in Frankfurt beyond the summer and returns to his parent club Wolves. The 26-year-old Austrian made six appearances until mid-February, when he suffered a cruciate ligament tear in the Bundesliga match against Freiburg – just days after scoring his first goal for Eintracht against Union Saint-Gilloise – and has been out of action since.
Eintracht Frankfurt wishes both players all the best for the future!
