Eintracht Frankfurt travel to Rome for their final Europa League group match against Lazio on 13 December 2018. Eintracht fans have been given an initial allocation of 5,800 tickets, but many more fans will want to follow the team in the Italian capital and will try to purchase available tickets via various unofficial platforms, most of which exist online.
Lazio club officials have warned against this and reiterated that as yet there have been no ticket sales for the home stands or any other areas of the Stadio Olimpico and therefore tickets on platforms such as Viagogo, eBay etc. are not valid match tickets. At best they will be vouchers. Anyone who buys these tickets should expect that they will either not be read by the turnstiles or that entry to the stadium will be denied for security reasons.
Lazio are currently preparing to begin their own legal action against the trading of tickets for this match.
