Kristijan Jakic initially arrived in Frankfurt on loan from Dinamo Zagreb in summer 2021. After a successful season, in which he made 38 competitive appearances, he was signed on a permanent deal and was a first-team regular in the following campaign as well.
In total the Croatian has featured 82 times for the Eagles, registering two goals and two assists as well as contributing to the historic triumph in the 2022 UEFA Europa League. Last term he played in all of Eintracht’s matches in the Champions League.
He hasn’t played as much as he’d have liked this season, which is why we’ve granted his request to go out on loan.

Jakic has now joined Bundesliga rivals FC Augsburg on loan for the second half of the current campaign, with the Bavarian club possessing an option to make the move permanent.
