Kevin Trapp: Contract Extension!

Team captain and number one goalkeeper Kevin Trapp remains an Eagle until at least 2019! Club and player extended the existing contract for another three years.

These are truly great news, one of the team's key players extended his contract with Eintracht for a significant period: Kevin Trapp!

SGE's current skipper joined in 2012 and quickly became the regular number 1 goalkeeper. He is an integral figure of the squad and was named team captain at the start of the running season. He played in 66 Bundesliga matches for Eintracht, plus 5 in the DFB Cup and 9 in the Europa League.

Kevin Trapp after the contract extension: "I am very happy to stay in Frankfurt. The city and the club have great potential; stadium, fans, environment - that's all sensational. I am grateful as the club signed me in the first place and I was able to play Bundesliga and Europa League. We have great opportunities here in the years to come."
