Jetro, how does it feel to be working with the rest of the team again?
“It wasn’t easy to wait and wait, I needed a lot of patience for that. That’s why I’m just so happy to be back properly now.”
What were your first thoughts when you woke up on the day of your first proper session?
“I had very nice thoughts. It’s definitely a great feeling to know I’m 100 per cent fit and a valuable member of the team in physical terms.”
Who helped you the most during your long road to recovery?
“It’s difficult to pick out just one person because every member of the team, staff and medical department supported me a lot. Everyone was involved in a different way and everyone supported me.”
We have a lot of quality in the squad. The coach will choose the right moment to play me.

“I obviously hope so! It won’t be easy but I’m waiting for my chance. We have a lot of quality in the squad. The coach will choose the right moment to play me.”
What are your aims for the New Year?
“They come automatically as a result of my progress. My aim until recently was to make a full return to first-team training. Now I want to get some minutes under my belt, slowly but surely.”
